If you're coming from the south, take Highway 84 from Santa Fe, and from the east, take I-25 and connect to Highway 160 in Walsenburg. If you're coming from the west, you can take Highway 160 from Cortez, or consider taking a scenic route through California, Idaho, Arizona, and New Mexico.
